Safety instructions

At the SLOVAKIA BOOGIE you perfom jumps in accordance with Slovak skydiving rules called V-PARA and those below-mentioned set by the organizer, with effect from 2007.


SAFETY ZONES AT SLÁVNICA AERODROME

We will do a checks of the parachutes older than 5 years!


Jumps can be performed by :
Sportsmen and students who are:
- Holders of the valid FAI or national sports parachuting licence
- Holders of the registration card issued by the organizer of the SLOVAKIA BOOGIE for the given calendar year

Every skydiver has to accept safety advices and accept advertised conditions of safety bahaviour in airfield Slávnica.

Tandem passengers :
- Who have made a pre-jump preparation confirmed with his/her signature in the tandempilotś documentation, as the tandempilot is fully responsible for his/her passenger  

Every tandem pilot has to inform before tandem jump his tandem passenger about rules of moving, safety area and landing area at Slávnica airfield. 

Every tandem passenger has to accept safety advices and accept advertised conditions of safety bahaviour in airfield Slávnica.

Registration requires :
- Filling in and signing the registration form - possible to fill at home direct from this main web site
- Being acquainted with all the rules and safety precautions related to jumping and confirming with his/her signature that he/she understands them and is ready to observe them fully
- Chcecking skydiver´s documentation and his/her gera documentation
- Checking skydiver´s gear by a SLOVAKIA BOOGIE instructor
- issuing the SLOVAKIA BOOGIE registration card valid for the currnet season


Alowed kind of jumps :
At the SLOVAKIA BOOGIE it is possible to perform the following jumps : AFF, FS, Skysurf, Freestyle, Freefly, Solo, Tandem and camera jumps. Other types of jumps / with a Skyball, boat... / are strictly forbidden.
Jump performing and gear equipment according to the categories of skydivers :
„A“ licence holders and „AFF“ students /25 jumps, 5min. of free fall time/ :
They can perform jumps only under the supervision of his/her qualified Parachute Instructor. If his/her Parachute Instructor is not present at the boogie, the can perform jumps under the direct dupervison of a SLOVAKIA BOOGIE Parachute Instructor. The Parachute Instructor confirms with his/her signature that fact for the organizer.
„A“ licence holders and „AFF“ students have to be equipped with : gear in good working order, reserve parachute packed by a qualified person and equipped with an AAD, visual altimeter, knife /hook knife/, rigid helmet, sports boots and goggles.

„B“ licence holders /50 free fall jumps, 30min. of free fall time/
They can perform jumps without the direct supervision of a qualified Parachute Instructor when the organizer´s and safety regulations are kept up.
„B“ licence holders have to be equipped with gear in good working order, reserve parachute packed by a qualified person and obligatorily equipped with AAD, visual altimeter, knife /hook knife/, rigid helmet, sports boots and goggles.


„C, D“ or higher licence holders /200/500 free fall jumps, 60min/5 hours/ free fall time /
They can perfomr jumps without any restrictions when they keepng up all the organizer´s and safety regulations.
„C, D“ or higher licence holders have to be equipped with : gear in good working order, reserve parachute packed by a qualified person, knife /hook knife/. Usage of life-saving devices is compulsory in the following combination : AAD and visual altimeter or AAD and audio altimeter or visual altimeter and audio altimeter.

In case they perform the jumps : „Skysurf, Freestyle of Reefly ...“ they have to be equipped with : helmet, audio altimeter, reserve canopy equipped with an AAD and main deployment method pull out or hand-deploy bottom container.
Skydivers performing camera jumps have to be equipped with : gear in gooed working, reserve parachute packed by a qualified person, knife /hook knife/, audio altimeter and the helmet with cut-away is recommended.

Weather condition :
- allowed maximum wind speed at the ground level is 9m/s with round reserve parachute
- allowed maximum wind speed at the ground level is 11m/s with ram-air reserve parachute

Opening altitude :
„A“ licence holders and „AFF“ students
Main canopy has to be fully open at the altitude of min. 1200 m above the ground level
Tandem pilots
Main canopy has to be fully open at the altitude of min. 1300 m above the ground level
Others
Main canopy has to be fully open at the altitude of min. 900 m above the ground level

Use of the seat belts and helmets
Seat belts and helmets are required to be worn by all aircraft occupants during the take-aff / to min. 300m altitude/ and landing.


When breaking these rules the organizer can cancel your jumps without return.
